Why Serviced Apartment Needs 3D Tracking

In the Serviced Apartment sector, professional video content has become essential for standing out in a competitive market. Whether you need promotional material, training content, or brand storytelling, 3D Tracking delivers measurable results that transform how serviced apartment professionals communicate with their audience.

Specific Challenges for Serviced Apartment

Apart-hotels target a specific traveler profile — extended-stay business travelers, relocating families, and project-based professionals — who need the services of a hotel with the space and independence of an apartment. Video content must demonstrate the practical features that differentiate apart-hotels from both categories: fully equipped kitchens, in-unit laundry, dedicated workspace, and separate living and sleeping areas. Neighborhood orientation videos showing nearby supermarkets, public transit, restaurants, and parks help guests envision daily life during a multi-week stay. Corporate presentation videos targeting relocation companies and HR departments emphasize the cost savings versus traditional hotel stays and the productivity benefits of apartment-style living. Virtual tours of different unit configurations help booking managers match corporate travelers with appropriate accommodations.

Video Challenges in Serviced Apartment

Selling an Experience, Not Just a Room

Hospitality competes on experience, and video captures that experience like no other medium. 67% of travelers watch destination and hotel videos before booking. The challenge is conveying the feeling of a stay — the atmosphere, the service quality, the sensory details — not just showing rooms and amenities.

Hotels must produce content for multiple audiences: leisure travelers, business guests, event planners, and wedding couples. Each requires different storytelling approaches, from aspirational lifestyle films to practical virtual tours and event capability showcases.

What Makes 3D Tracking Unique

3D camera tracking (matchmoving) reconstructs the virtual camera movement from your live-action footage so that CG elements can be placed into the scene with accurate perspective, scale, and motion. We solve camera tracks in PFTrack and 3DEqualizer, producing a calibrated 3D camera and point cloud exportable to Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D, or Nuke. This is the essential bridge between real footage and any 3D insertion — text floating in a room, a product on a table, or a building added to a skyline. Turnaround is 1-3 days per shot. We provide the solved camera file plus a test render showing a checkerboard ground plane for alignment verification.

What You Receive

You receive: final composited shots in ProRes 4444/EXR, VFX breakdown reel, individual element passes (beauty, diffuse, specular, alpha), and project files.
